Architectural Control (ACC)

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC), per the Auburn Park HOA ByLaws, is formed to uphold the three entities (construction, landscaping and maintenance) of the Auburn Park Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (DCCR), along with serving the homeowners of Auburn Park. The Auburn Park DCCR document is the legal foundation by which the ACC reviews all requests / plans / etc.

To have your "Request" reviewed by the ACC, please review, prepare and submit the following:

  • Please ensure that your request does NOT violate any of the Auburn Park Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions before submitting the request - this will save everyone time and effort.
  • Please ensure that your request does NOT violate any City of Mansfield zoning restrictions or require city permits. The ACC cannot override any restrictions that the city has restrictions against or requires permits for - City of Mansfield Permits.
  • It is highly recommended that you obtain ACC approval for your request, PRIOR to seeking a permit from the City.
  • If you are not sure whether your modification needs to be submitted to the ACC, we recommend that you submit it rather than be in violation.
    • Enclose two completed copies of the attached Request form (per Article 2.4)
    • Enclose two copies of any plans for your request (per Article 2.4)
    • Enclose one set of sample materials, as necessary (per Article 2.4)
    • Send your "Request" via Certified Mail with all attachments and/or samples (per Article 2.4), for review to:

Auburn Park ACC
c/o Ross Property Management
Attn: Cindy Martin
P.O. Box 13807
Arlington, TX 76094-0807

  • Please DO NOT provide the information directly to an ACC member
  • Cindy provides the information to the ACC for review at the next ACC review meeting. According to the Auburn Park CCRs, your request will be reviewed and responded to within a maximum of a 30-day timeframe. Every effort will be made by the ACC to respond to your request in a timely manner.
  • One set of the submission will be returned to you either "Approved" or "Disapproved" along with any necessary comments. Occasionally, a submission may also require an on-site visit prior to rendering a decision - if that is the case, you will be contacted by an ACC member to establish a meeting time.
  • Homeowners who decide to proceed without first obtaining approval from the ACC, you do so at your own risk.
  •  Please read and understand the CCR Section 2.4 for full details around this risk.

Note: Homeowners that made modifications prior to the Auburn Park HOA or ACC being formed must have an approved plan / request from Ryland Homes or the modifications could be subject to review by the Auburn Park ACC.
